PM  … Sunday

Insight from the Leadership Book. (John C. Maxwell)

     -Leadership develops over a lifetime.

-Champions don’t become champions in the ring, they are merely recognized there.

Been thinking about setting some kind of ‘book’ together that would target younger people, and encourage them to write. The book would be called, ‘Scribe’… not sure where the book would take place…

Today is Sunday, I went to church this morning with the rest of the guys and made time to take a nap after lunch. (Upon reading some of my leadership book.) The nap was very rewarding, so was my ‘new’ book. I learned about what Maxwell calls the 4 phases of leadership growth:

phase 1: Don’t know what I don’t know

phase 2: Know what I don’t know

phase 3: I grow and I know and it starts to show

phase 4: I simply go because of what I know.

This book’s author has done a very good job with breaking down/ presenting ideas and concepts. Another thing I like about the book is that it has numerous examples of successful and unsuccessful leaders.

In church today we learned about facing our giants and not giving up… but relying on God —> having attitude when we face particular struggles: As well as faith in God –> that we shall be delivered. Who? are these struggles (giants) that they should defy the living God? we have to believe Christ and in His word that what we ask He will do and that He will reward those who diligently seek Him…
