Mother’s Day

Morning Time:

Waiting for service to begin. (Sunday School) we were served sausage biscuits so that’s cool. I completely forgot about my commitment not to eat on Sunday mornings. It’s crazy how we show ourselves exactly how important some things are to us and some things aren’t. (Work in Progress)

Notes (Sunday School) Being angry can grieve the Holy Spirit. Can we serve god in anger? Christ had grace and mercy for us on the cross.

Romans 8:28 —–Everything happens for the best.

Ezekiel 38—–Be prepared.

Genesis 39:20—–Joseph in jail; wrongfully accused. — God orders our steps.

*During Service-                                                                                                                                                 Chapter 18–Matthew– the “children’s chapter” (summary)

Be converted- be like children- we are to be childlike, but not child-ish.

Childlike Characteristics: -humble (1 Peter 5:5-6)

“Big people”(adults) -not teachable   -self-serving

“Little people”(children) -willing to learn -wanting to please

Grow like a wasp….. smaller in our own estimations.

Isaiah 6:8….”Here am I!! Send Me!”

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth! Isaiah 52:7(KJV)
