Church at Rocky Creek was extremely hard to stay awake for (the 1st part) but once we finally made it to the sanctuary, church was awesome. The praise and worship was really good. I initially sat on the second row but there was no room anywhere for the last person we had with us; that guy sat on the front. So, I ended up on the front row, so he wasn’t alone on the front row. I am very glad I was led to do this because the music was great, got my energy pumping a little bit and I managed to get the courage to walk around and greet a few people that weren’t in the program; which I felt took a little bit of growth.
4 POINTS on Memorizing scripture… (what we learned at Rocky Creek Dinner)…
-memorizing God’s word helps keep us from sin. Knowing the Word of God also describes what our purpose is here on Earth. Knowing, meditating/memorizing the word of God also provides us, “believers”, with the counsel we can share with others in times of weakness/ struggle/ tribulation. Memorizing scripture enhances relationships between “Us” and Christ, and brings “us” joy, praying with scripture also brings God joy.
